Luxray isn't that good. The only good attack it gets is Spark =/ I'd rather use Eletitilbe or something.

Can't you teach it thunderbolt or something though? Crappy S.Atk + No good Phys. Electric attacks = failure for Luxray. No Milo or 'Chomp, or trading? Well try any six of these: * - Diamond only ^ - Pearl only Phys. Sweepers*Tyrannitar (he's almost Uber w/ Sand Stream and great BST) Adamant - EQ - Crunch - Substitute - Focus Punch Gyarados (who cares if he's 4X weak to Elec, with DD and Waterfall, he'll murder things) Adamant or Jolly, I think (Me noob @ comp. battling right now) - Waterfall (has better Acc. than Aqua Tail) - DD - Ice Fang - EQ (murders Elec types and others) ^Salamence Adamant/Jolly - Dragon Claw - EQ (yes, EQ is whored in comp. battling) - Stone Edge - Fire Fang Heracross Adamant/Jolly - Stone Edge - Megahorn - CC - Pursuit (for Gengars) Weavile Adamant - Ice Punch - Night Slash - Brick Break - Aerial Ace Infe rape (not a typo, it's what he does) Adamant - Flare Blitz - CC - Stone Edge - U-Turn Spec. SweepersAzelf Modest/Timid - Nasty Plot - Psychic - Boltbeam IMO, you're really limited on good spec. sweepers since trading allows you to get the other good ones (Alakazam, Gengar, and Pory-Z) OtherSkarmory Impish - Spikes - Drill Peck - Roar/Whirlwind - Roost Spiker, Shuffler, and PHazer Blissey Bold - Seismic Toss (you can't have this unless you have Emerald, FR, or LG) - Softboiled - Ice Beam (to hit Ghosts) - Stealth Rock/T Wave Supporter and Special Wall Ninjask Jolly - Swords Dance - Baton Pass - Substitute - Protect BPer for SDs and SBs Others that I don't know what MS for: Bronzong - Wall Dusclops (Dusknoir is better, but Dusclops is still a viable choice) - Wall Umbreon - Toxic Trapper Vaporeon - BPer for Acid Armour and Subs I'm sure there are more and better ones, but these ones are really useful.

My Luxray has a nature that favors SP. attack, an IV that favors SP.attack so it helps a little but that was luck plus intimidate which i love
Also for some reason I like roserade It's SP. Attack is awsome and it can learn toxic spikes.

Luxray's Sp. Attack is reaaaaaaally bad. Heck, Pika w/ Light Ball is far better. And the good eevee-loutions (mostly Vaporeon and Umbreon) are really good with Wish.
And just to share a moveset for a Toxic-Trapper:
Umbreon @ Imprish / Bold
W/ Leftovers
-Moonlight -Meanlook -Toxic -Taunt / Protect
Taunt to stop DDancing and Protect to further use Lefties. And Roserade dies pretty easily.

Attack is awsome and it can learn toxic spikes. Luxray's base S.Atk. is only 95. Even with a beneficial nature, it only caps at 317, if it has 31 IV and EV trained all the way. Most specail sweepers usually have to have 350 Sp.Atk+ to be a good special sweeper. Plus with it's low Speed, it will get outrunned by many Pokemon that can OHKO it with EQ. Roserade DOES have high Sp. Atk, but with a base 90 Speed, it will surely be outrunned by many who'll kill it thanks to its horrilbe Defense. Luxray's Sp. Attack is reaaaaaaally bad. Heck, Pika w/ Light Ball is far better. Which goes to show that Luxay is the Flareon of Electric types, seeing as LB Chu really sucks. Probably the only good Eevee-lutions. Flareon has bad movepool, Jolteon is surpassed by other better Elec types, Espeon (don't know about him), Glaceon is overshadowed by Vaporeon, and Leafeon doesn't have a good physical movepool. The only bad thing about that is if someone uses Taunt, which causes Umbry to Struggle itself to death. Plus BP is better than either Taunt or Protect since it can pass the Mean Look, and Wish is more useful than Moonlight.

maybe that is why my gyarados and staraptor are my best pokemon lol
My Gyarados was my first pokemon that I ev trained and has a HP IV and has a Jolly nature (don't know what that one is)
My staraptor has a Speed IV with an adamant nature and I put so much money for Carbos and Protein for it.

I have no idea how to quote to deal with me.
Probably the only good Eevee-lutions. Flareon has bad movepool, Jolteon is surpassed by other better Elec types, Espeon (don't know about him), Glaceon is overshadowed by Vaporeon, and Leafeon doesn't have a good physical movepool.

Jolteon is surpassed, but can be a force with BP; and Leafeon can be a decent tank/wall with it's defences, but it can be risky with all the boltbeamers (Starmie and Milotic comes to mind)
The only bad thing about that is if someone uses Taunt, which causes Umbry to Struggle itself to death. Plus BP is better than either Taunt or Protect since it can pass the Mean Look, and Wish is more useful than Moonlight.

BP can be an option, but with good Defences (I usually breed till I get 27+ in IVs) Umbreon can still live on for a long time. And Wish can be more useful if there are sandstorms, etc. but if it's against a sweeper, Moonlight would be more better since you wouldn't have to wait for Wish to activate. So I guess it's based on preferences.

LB Chu w/ Surf is pretty fun to use. 400+ base attack, I think.

I like to have Infernape with Roserade and Floatzel. Then it's Snorlax, Luxray, and Abomasnow. After I get the ND, I get a ROD
