I am starting a tournament for everyone on PMC. The winner will earn themselves the New Year 09 Cup! The fight's will consist of six on six battle's and no legendary's (refer to Serebii's uber list.) All Pokemon are considered level 100 and pokemon are only permitted to use moves they can learn. (Once again refer to Serebii.net if needed.) Of the other pokemon you choose you can use the same six the entire tournament or switch some/all out each battle. Your choice. Each Pokemon is permitted five moves (Posts) and at the end of both pokemon's five moves THE TWO TRAINERS DO NOT DECIDE THE WINNER! The two trainers must end this battle with both pokemon still standing and whoever else is in the tournament that is not fighting becomes a judge. These remaining people will decide who they think put up a better fight and once it is decided the person whose username comes first in the dictionary will post on the fight thread "So and So has fainted" Naturally this requires many threads so here are the different kinds.
Main Thread: What you are reading. This thread is only here to show participants, show where people are ranking, show who is fighting who, and for posting your entrance into the tournament and/or comments about it. This first post will be constantly updated showing the newest info at the bottom.
Fight Threads: There will be seperate "Blank Vs. Blank" threads for EVERY different fight. The person of the two fighters whose name comes first in the dictionary will post this thread and start with the first post. The first post of both players will be "Blank sends out Blank!" So the second post will be the real first counted move post. When a pokemon has been declared unable to battle if the pokemon that fainted was attacking in the most recent post, the naturally they must send out a replacement before the next turn can go on. You have 48 hours to post after the most recent post or you will be disqualified. Some exceptions may be made if you tell us ahead of time. Maybe.
Judge threads: Once again the person with their username first in the dictionary posts this out of the judges (People in tournament not currently fighting.) The thread should be titled "Pokemon A Vs. Pokemon B Judging" The judges will have 10 hours to put in their say or they will not be counted in the vote. Once a decision is made the original poster posts the decision in the original battle as "Pokemon A/B has fainted." After the decision has been made the judge post will be deleted for the courtesy of the Trainers. If a tie occurs the two currently fighting trainers both recieve one more move and the judging goes on again. Rinse and Repeat until a winner is decided.
This is a bunch of information to take in so if you have questions or concerns please PM me. Also post on here if you are in the tournament and I will add you.
