Well it would be good to catch a trapinch and raise it to a flygon. Slakoth have the truant abiltiy so watch out for that. A swellow is good for flying types.

Ralts are great for raising to a gardevour personally it's my favorite psycic pokemon in the game. You get trapinch in the sand area forget the name

well what you could do is just leave that last spot empty for now and wait until after the elite four and use metagross as your psychic pokemon.
so you'd have blaizeiken gyarados metagross
and then most likely groudon and rayquaza.

I wouldn't recommend the Slakoth because it eventually evolves into Slaking which keeps the same bad ability. And if you don't have other cartridges to trade with, then I wouldn't recommend the Geodude either because it'll be stuck as a Graveler. You should try sticking with 5 pokemon and waiting until the final city so you can get an already powerful Kyogre then you'll have 6 strong pokemon and would have had more time in the game to train the other 5.

thanks ill think about that one
if i take that idea then i need to think whate are the 5 that i would use id definitely be including: Torchic evolutions Gyarados Elektrike evolution so that leaves possible places for : Psychic type Flying type Grass type Dark type any ideas of which of these types i should choose?(or any other type that you think would be helpful) and if so which pokemon from that type? thanks

Torchic will cover the fighting top as soon as it evolves. I don't think you should stick with Gyarados, wait to get a Kyogre and catch a spare pokemon to teach surf in the mean while. A grass type, I would recommend a Seedot which evolves into a Shiftry when you obtain a leaf stone, which you will. Shiftry is grass and dark, and has good stats.Flying type, catch a tailow and evolve it into a Swellow. You can stick with the electrike, but I would just catch a ralts and teach it thunderbolt when it's a Gardevoir so you have a psychic and electric in one. Also catch a trapninch in the desert when you can, then when it evolves into Flygon you will have a ground Dragon type.
Edit: That covers all the types.

Whoopsie I'm used to playing Saiphire!
Edit: Someone who already had a dragon like Flygon or wanted to use rayquaza has a trading tool like me!
