I was wondering what your thoughts on the cloning glitch are. Is it cheating or legit?

It is a glitch which just dupilcates your pokemon.
So if you have a legit duplicated, it would still be counted as a legit because its basically the same pokemon.

I don't mind cloning. They're copies of legit data, so I don't mind it so much. I think its a good thing, especially for the event Pokemon where most people are no-where near the event so they have no chance of getting the Pokemon ever.
If I had cloned my shiny Butterfree and Sableye I wouldn't have lost them. I kept them both on my LeafGreen game but I forgot I had them on there when I started a new game so I deleted them both...My sister wanted me to clone them and give them to her before but I wouldn't let her. So now I'm all for cloning. Share the love ;D
Well I wouldn't say its completly legit since its not meant to happen. But I don't see anything wrong with it

I don't clone anymore. I lost my suicune when I was cloning a eevee .I don't know why. I also had other problems with cloning aswell. But if you clone a pokemon just to get a master ball or a rare candy then it would count as cheating (but I used to do it anyway)

I know hacks are generally not allowed in tournaments. Are clones allowed?

they cannot check if it's cloned, not if the original pokemon is not in the tournament so it can be used

Technically it's cheating. Anything that exploits a glitch or uses the game shark is cheating for me. I will only battle such an opponet who uses said cheats glitches if we agree beforehand. Come into a battle and they are cheating, disconnect.

Yeah of corse, but cloning is handy for Global trading. But i dont bother with it because i can never get the right timing with it.
But only rarely i succeeded.

I know hacks are generally not allowed in tournaments. Are clones allowed? I think so because they're just exact copies of legit data so there's no way of them being able to tell the difference
