This topic is about how to help with beating certain gym leaders, etc in separate games. This is an information thread, NOT a discussion thread meaning that you will be inputting your ideas on strategies that you beat Frontier brains, gym leaders, elite four, etc. in several games. Here's a full list:
- Frontier brains (hardest and most needed)
- Battle frontier sites

- Catching rare pokemon
If you have anymore please do tell. Please, if you used cheats, don't reply this is a thread about winning things FAIRLY. Also - I'm going to stick this topic seeing as it is an information thread. I'll start with my strategies.

Catching Feebas
Only do this if you have A LOT of time to waste, ok to start make sure that you DO NOT change the cool phrase in Dewford Town leave it go. Once u can get to Route 119 you can start fishing, my advice would be to use the Old Rod so u can catch lower lvl Feebas making them stronger as u lvl them up. Feebas will only appear on 6 tiles out of the hundreds on that route and these tiles will change everytime the Cool Phrase changes.
Start at the bottom of the route and fish in every tile at least 3 times as once u find the correct tile finding feebas is pretty common, just keep trying and you will eventually find one and believe me it is worth it cause Milotic Pwns.
For Milotic, You need to max out Feebas's beauty stats by feeding it pokeblock. I ur feebas doesn't eat any more pokeblock after a while of feeding it,then u did something wrong and have to try again with a new feebas. That is why I recomend breeding. Breed a Feebas and a ditto and they will have children!!!
Make sure that you don't have a feebas with the natures of impish, careful, or adament, because no matter what pokeblocks you feed them, they will NOT evolve into a Milotic. I suggest Cornn Berry and wait till the Berry Master is in town (check the TV's) and blend with him. You should get AWESOME pokeblocks that you can feed to your feebas. Then just level it up one level and you should have it.

Emerald
Elite Four
Ok, for the elite four in Emerald you need these attacks u need to take to the elite four. (and don't give these attack to just one pokemon because if that one pokemon is killed u have lost most of ur good attacks.) : you need thunderbolt, ice beam, blizzard, shockwave, thunder, and a fighting type or a dark type. You should only take one of those two.( fighting or dark) If ur wondering who I took ,I took my Blaziken Attacks:(Fire Blast, Flamethower, sky uppercut, and mirror move.)If u have a very high level blaziken( Level 70 and up) You could take out two of the elite fours. (Drake the Dragon master and Sidney the dude with only dark types.) To use the combo I developed with with my Blaziken u need a lot of hyper potions, max potions, and full restores. Since dragon type moves are super effective against dragon pokemon, if Balziken takes damage from a dragon move like DragonBreath or Dragon claw, Mirror move copies the exact move and uses it on the opponent, which will be supper effective. If Blaziken takes a lot of damage, use the hyper potions and other things. I don't suggest taking both a dark and a fighting type because it will leave your team easy to beat with one type of attack. So try my combo. Oh yeah beat the first elite four with sky uppercut if u use my combo. please Pm me if u have any questions. I can also help u with gym leaders and the battle factory and catching pokemon.

Greta (Silver symbol) [Click here for info on Battle Arena]
You probably want to start off with a fire type pokemon that would be able to defeat her heracross. I started off with salamence (Attacks: Fire Blast, dragon claw, Fly, and crunch) and took down her heracross in one hit with fireblast. Salamence is also a great starter as it often creams those weak pokemon in the pre-battles before greta. Umbreon was a problem for salamence so it ended up losing because of lost in mind and skill. So I took out Blaziken (Attacks: Sky uppercut, blaze kick, overheat, and sunny day) and just sent a sky uppercut over to umbreon defeating it (after it had also been weakened by salamence) pretty quickly. Then Shedinja was easy quickly taking it out with blaze kick. I kept Milotic (Attacks: Facade [Don't laugh... x.x], Recover, Ice beam, and Surf). This team breezed through the first few trainers and beat Greta very easily.

Pike Queen Lucy (Silver symbol) [Click here for info on Battle Pike]
As long as you read the guide linked to above things should be pretty easy getting to queen lucy. The worst thing that could happen is that you get frozen/paralyzed/etc. Even then the first few rooms shouldn't be that hard. I usually lead off with gardevoir to One hit K-O that Seviper with Psychic. Then my gardevoir also has thunderbolt so I use that as well to my advantage if milotic is up next. I still had manectric as backup. Your biggest issue will be shuckle with it's high defense and toxic. A water pokemon would probably be good for shuckle, but I went with my trusty Salamence which pulverized the little pulp.

Diamond/Pearl (Probably refrain from this until the english version comes out considering there usually are differences)
