I didn't want to spam in the other thread so here.
I was really disappointed while watching this episode. I thought it would be a bigger deal. Ash didn't seem sad or disapointed at all. The way they left the episode off was really random. And ash just doesn't seem to have any emotion anymore. (sigh)
WHat did everyone else think about it?

Firt it would be nice if you told who "they" where (even though i know who you were talking about" but i liked this episode. They were happy because May was happy. she was leaving to go accomplish something and ash promised max that he would battle him. they know that they will probably see them in the future to. when misty left ash was sad because he probably thought this was the last time he would see her.

Ash probably was less emotional in this episode than in "Gotta Catch ya Latter," because he probably didn't like May as much as Misty. There was a lot more evidence for Pokeshipping than for Advancedshipping.

Well, I think it didn't make much sense because though he'll see them again won't he still miss them? Its like when a special friend is moving away. You know you'll see them again but you're still upset.
Then with brock he just left with no problem. Barely said bye to the man. Then when he left pallet town, it was really random. They were just sitting there, and all of a sudden he says "lets go to sinnoh!"
Was that the first time they ever mentioned sinnoh in the show? If so, thats a very bad way to introduce a new region. Because its on the last episode. I could be wrong because I don't really watch BF yet. In the other seasons, they introduced the regions over a couple of episodes.

It is was good episode.. Man, who really cares whether Ash is emotional or not. Whether he wants to leaves his friends. But really, he was sad that they had to go their own separate ways, but he just didn't show it.

No, Oak mentiones sinnoh in "the unbeatible lightness of seeing" And i think ash knows that he'll meet up with brock again. Thats my guess.
