Each contestant will show us how their pokemon is special, and how well they can work together to show off beauty, coordination, and friendship. Judging this we'll be PMC"s very own flygon99, and Myself, bennyjr123. Now, let's see who will be competing today, Latias329,(rp name) James(rp name) Warriorgaz19(rp name) shail69(rp name) bobjr(rp name) jonatron(rp name) thehunter(rp name) and thegreatlord(rp name) So there they are. You'll be seeing them in just a few moments, because the appeal round, is just about to begin. This is the round where you will show off your pokemon's moves creatively. Don't forget, this is also the round that decides whether you make it to the second round. If you haven't already read it, make sure to go here: gurlbot.proboards55.com/index.cgi?board=information&action=display&thread=1195418143 for more info on contest. It's now time to bring out our first contestant. Latias329, your up! Good luck, and have fun! Let the contest begin! (oh, and your rp name doesn't have to be the one you would normally use in your real rp. Just a random one you'd like to use for this and future PMC contest. Don't forget to say your name before you start in the appeal round

Go Glaceon!!! What Latias329 thinks:Oooh I feel so scared to come on, but my nerves won`t get me to my dreams, I`ll do it. Glaceon make a dramatic appearance where he uses a ice beam while twirling in the air.Glaceon use SNOW CLOAK!!.Glaceon cloaks himself in a figure of crystallization, now Glaceon use ice beam on the arena floor.Glaceon preforms a dazzling ice beam on the floor, but there is a change not only is he using ice beam on the arena floor, he is also use doing something else. Glaceon no do ice shard, Glaceon uses dozens of ice shards and , whats this, Glaceon has just carved a picture of Flygon99 and Bennyjr123 on the arena floor on the ice. Finally it is time for the final touch, Glaceon use rain dance.Glaceon preforms a rain dance and it begins to rain on the arena floor. Now Glaceon use blizzard.Glaceon preforms a blizzard, whats he up to.Glaceon finally use iron tail on each of the rain drops.WOW!! , Glaceon has just preformed a dazzling most sparkling appeal as he carved a sculpture of Flygon99 and Bennyjr123 on the arena and at the same time made it snow with small crystal shards.GIVE IT UP FOR LATIAS329 AND HIS GLACEON!!!! ;D ;D After preformance:Nice job Glaceon you worked your heart out, great job((Latias329 hands over a treat to Glaceon)),Glacy!!, shouts Glaceon.Hmmm ???I wonder how we did, well all we gotta do is wait and see.(9Glaceon hops on the Latias329`s lap as Latias329 bgins to groom his pokemon.

Nicely done, you used your Pokemon's abiltys very well and it had a nice flow. A bit choppy at times and could have been a bit more descriptive and used better words for your performance, but for a first time it was performed great.
For a very creative performance: 7.5/10
Judges Note: (This one is aimed towards Latias and everyone else at points of it) For the record that was done very well. I will try to tell you any faults and glorify your talents and creativness. I'm not going to hold back, though so if I thought something could have been better, I am going to say it and your score will be dropped. Don't excpet a pushover score from me, but expect a great one if you really earned it. And you got it, Congrats on the high score.

I agree, and I probably should've said more. I'll do so in future.
Next up, we have James! Take the stage

((I don't know if I'm supposed to use the starter my Char has or just a random poke, Imma go with the latter because I wanna use a squirtle))
James made his way down from the stand where he had been watching the performances with a few friends of his. He made his way into the area where he was obviously supposed to begin.
He pulled a pokeball off of his belt and pushed the button in the middle to enlarge it. James wiped a bead of sweat from his brow and tossed the Pokeball into the air. "Come on out, Squirtle!"
Squirtle appeared from the pokeball, inside it's shell, spinning and spraying water from the head, arm and leg holes as it plummeted towards the ground. When it made contact, squirtle popped it's head arms and legs out of the respective holes and grinned, quite an entrance.
"Now squirtle, use water gun on the ground to get yourself back in the air, then when you get high enough, use ice beam"
Squirtle aimed its water gun at the ground, just as he was told, and jetted up into the air, when he switched to ice beam, the water that had carried him upwards froze, creating a thick ice platform for squirtle to stand on.
James was amazed at how cool squirtle looked up there, then he had another idea. "Squirtle, use rapid spin!"
Squirtle went into its shell and began to spin, eroding the ice and eventually making a burrow of sorts inside the pillar, squirtle began to spin faster and in no time there was a shell-shaped tunnel giong right down through the midle of the pillar.
"Now finish it all off with a skull bash squirtle!"
Squirtle used skull bash on the inside of the ice pillar and it shattered into millions of glittering tiny pieces, they fell down almost as snow, creating a huge blanket over the arena, quite the sight.
Squirtle did a little bow and ran back to James, jumping into his arms and giggling. "You did good squirtle, that was amazing!"

Some creative points, nice flow: 7.5/10
Judges Note: Interesting performance. The use of water and ice put together made a grand performance. I'm still getting the feeling that you're "telling me" the performance not "showing me." The use of attacks was alright, though I liked the skull bash idea and it's effect. You mention how James was amazed at this and that, but what I'm looking for is to amaze me. Give me a grand description and touch all senses possible. Remember you must go deeper than just painting a picture in my head with your words. You must make it amazing. I liked your ideas, but like the last performance you could have been more descriptive. The flow of it all was grand and keep that up. Remember getting to my senses it key, I can't physically "see" the performance, so make me mentally see it. Any questions or concerns PM me.

I would agree that there could've been some improvement in the descriptive parts, but there is one other thing that I noticed. It was very creative to do that from a readers, and writers point of view, but when it came to the actual trainer I was a bit concerned. It seemed like your pokemon had more control over what was happening than you did. For example, you said "Squirtle use rapid spin!" and squirtle decided to make a sculpture. There could be good or bad parts of this. It either shows that you've raised your pokemon to the level where they can tell what you want them to do without you fully having to tell. Or, it could mean that you have less power over your pokemon than you think. Maybe that's what you wanted Squirtle to do, but the audience doesn't know that.
Overall, I thought it was another good performance. 8.0/10
Anyone can take the stage next. (think this is the best way to do it)

Robin walked from the darkenned entrance, his feet left a small echo as he walked the stairs to the stands and paused at the top, he took in a small breath before clasping his hand around his pokeball on his belt.
With a click, he dispatched the ball from it's housing, his finger found the small button. He lifted the ball to his mouth. "You can do this...we can do this" Robin whispered.
Robin eyed the bucket he had with him, which was in his left hand. it was tin and silver, full of ice, in one quick motion he thrown his pokeball in the air after tappign the button to enlarge the ball.
"Charizard!" A flash of light filled the room as the shape of a Charizard flyign through the air materilzed from the summoning white. Robin caught the pokeball with his right hand and clipped it on his belt, he didn't have to order his pokemon the first bit since they had praticed it, although not impressive which wasn't the key but just to warm up his pokemon.
Charizard flew around the stage floor at blurring speed, eventually making it's own little gust attack without meaning too, Robin raised his hand and in the corner of Charizard's burning eye saw. The massive fire pokemon stopped in midair with a pose of readiness.
Robin put his right hand onto the bucket and with both hands lunged it forwards without letting go, the millions of small shaped icicles flew into the air catching the sunlight from the window as they did. Robin then clicked his fingers and Charizard quickly flapped it's wings to gain a little altitude, the speed of Charizard's wings grew increasingly fast but Charizard was not moving up or down.
The wings beated the air like a punchbag being beat from a hitmonchan or hitmonlee, the breeze in the small room erupetly became a storm of wind as the falling ice were caught in it and were raised to the ceiling but not actualy colliding.
Robin put the bucket on the ground as he watched, this was better than he had expected but enough thinking, this was a place to act and perform. "Ember!" Robin shouted, his voice echoing from around the room, vibrations of sound filling the air. Charizard had stopped it's speedy wings and opens it's large jaws and quick fire like pellets shot out at lightning speed.
Not one piece of ice felt out of the loop as each and everyone was hit with precise precision, the ice quickly melted into liguid, the water droplets hit the ground with a splash, making a small puddle in the stage.
"Flamethrower" Robin commanded and was initiated as Charizard hovered liked in the air and opened it's large jaws and fired at the puddle, steam quickly arose from the droplets. the steam had made a sort of hurricane effect without wind, Charizard caught Robin's eye, The confident trainer nodded and in return Charizard flew into the hurricane of hot boiling steam.
"Spin" Robin said issuing another order, Charizard began spinning and with the help of the steam...even faster. "Fire spin!" Charizard began a firespin whilst spinning inside the hurricane, the steam quickly was replaced by a hurricane not of steam, but of fire!
The roaring fire heated the air around the room, the temperature increasing with each passing second. "Seismos toss!"Charizard quickly got into position inside the hurricane and flew out to the side, the fire of the hurricane following the pokemon as it's destination was unknown as it did not gain height but speed as he moved in a circle around the room like it did at the beginning but more faster and with a roaring fire filling the room in it's wake.
Suddenly Charizard broke from it's continious route and slowly went up making a fire spiral. Charizard stopped at the top and then went flying down towards the ground, the heat of the fire still on the tip of it's legs and tail.
"Flamethrower!" Robin called as Charizard fired a flamethrower at the ground, In just a matter of seconds Charizard had hit the ground with the fire burning still brightly as it cascaded in all directions on impact.
Charizard stood up from where the burn mark of the residual fire and his own flamethrower were which had softened the impact for Charizard. The last flames of all fire slowly disserpeared in the air as Charizard stood proudly infront of the crowd.
Robin smiled happily as he watched his pokemon, he raised his pokeball after unclipping it and with the nod of his best friend returned the firey pokemon. Robin glanced at the crowd and then the judges and nodded with a slight bow.

all i can say is the room is very hot right now. j/k.
My friend, I have to say that might've just been excellent. Their were a few weak points, but the good out weighed the bad.
You're clever. I could see how you were taking our previous critiques and growing on them by making sure you had all of them their. I still feel like the pokemon had a bit more control than the trainer, but here are the things that impressed me. You're description was wonderful, you made sure all of your moves would flow perfectly, an so far, you're the only trainer who interacted with your pokemon. The last one is what really outweighed everything for me. YOU, the trainer, got out on the playing field and joined in on the performance. Sure it was small, afterall you only through a bucket of ice shards, but in any case, you helped and interacted, and I gotta say that is what I love. And I just feel like that was really original. I could feel the love between you and your pokemon.
Not sure if i am being rash, but I feel this score suits this performance perfectly. 10/10
flygon..
P.S. I know I just told everyone what I love, and basically a shortcut to a high score, but I'd be prett disappointed if you copied off of thehunter. Try to think of something completely original, that'll keep everyone on the edge of their seats.

( I use geodude as my contest pokemon)
"Geodude, come on out" Geodude comes out of the pokeball in a sparkling glow "Use rock throw" Geodude throws mmny small rocks in the field. "Now use sandstorm" Geodude uses sandstorm to pull out all the rocks thrown before and makes a long pole in the middle of the stage' "Use focus punch on the rocks, geodude" Geodude uses a powerful focus punch on the group on rocky pole in front of it, throwing the rocks flyling everywhere on the stage. "Now, use rockpolish and then use rollout" Geodude then sparkles with a great glow and then becomes a white ball and then slams all the rocks on the stage trying to make a box out of all the rocks. .Then it comes to the middle of the stage standing on top of rocky box.
note: its not good but its the best i can do.
