Don't you think it would be cool to see ash about 10 years later in a short series called like, Pokemon: Future (somethin generic)? I think it would. We could see how he grew up, and if he can battle without being so impulsive.
What do you think?

We could see how he grew up, and if he can battle without being so impulsive. What do you think? It's difficult to actually see what Ash would be like within ten years or so in the series. I'm assuming that it'll won't be a drastic change because within the Diamond and Pearl series, he is perhaps at the top of his maturity as a young adult compared to what he was in the Kanto Arc. The sense of maturity of him actually acting his age and accepting his rival as a friend, is somewhat of a long milestone in general. Not to mention that it's difficult to see if he'll even be battling at the age of 20 years old or so or if they want to make him grow older to begin with. I'm assuming his age will never change, only his overall sense of growth in maturity and style of battling.

Indeed, i find this a really good subject of talk. I wonder if he'll still be dense about girls? lol. I believe he'll be a really good battler by that time and if he still has Charizard...then wow, unbeatable lol.

it doesn;t even have to be a series. Just like, an episode or two would be cool

Ash 10 years later should have remembered his promise to Pidgeot by then

That would be great, like if the put it in a second series of Pokemon Chronicles. It would definetly be interesting to see.

ye but its like alot of things. tv shows in particular.
everyone wants to see ash in 10 years just like everyone wants to see the cast of friends do couple of episodes , or somethign to see wat happens with them 10 years down the line. alot of shows.
personaly i think it would be less about ash bateling , and more about his life.his job.family maybe?he could be a gym leader or something.

I don't think he'll be a Gym leader. He's not the settling kind of guy although he may grow into that. Nah i'll say he's still a full fledged pokemon trainer and battler or maybe just partime lol.

I think ash will grow up to be kind of like the legendary pokemon. He's probably going to travel around in secrecy in like a cloak or something, and only appears when needed. In other words, I think he's going to reach some kind of enlightenment.
